Decorative metalwork for Starlight roof balcony railing & entrance – New York, NY



 

Working on site, the Excalibur field crew made moulds of existing ornamental metal work currently in the  hotel. Based upon these motifs, we designed, sculpted and cast in white bronze, the 60-foot marquee currently over the Park Avenue Entrance, as well as various decorative elements such as the 14-foot high grills and the 7-foot tall light urns in the main lobby. Excalibur also recreated the Art Deco metalwork for the newly restored Starlight Roof and balcony railing.
